The ensemble od string instruments “Ars nova” celebrates its 10th anniversary. The ensemble, created on the basis of the chamber orchestra of Astrakhan philharmonic society, found its route at once. “Ars nova” works in two directions: performance of programs of classical quartet repertoire and performances of music-enlightening programs for a wide audience.

The work of the ensemble is well-known not only in Russia, but also outside it. The musicians played more than once in Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Elista, Kazakhstan, Italy. Elizaveta Belinskaya, honored artist of Russia, is the head of the ensemble.

An anniversary concert of the ensemble took place yesterday in Astrakhan philharmonic society. Boris Polevoy, Minister of Culture of the Astrakhan region, came to congratulate the members of the ensemble. He mentioned a great enlightenment work of the group in the region: “Your activities for the benefit of the region deserve the best praises, it’s very important that you propagate the musical traditions of the region with your art. We will keep supporting all your projects and initiatives in future”. Boris Polevoy gave Elizaveta Belinskaya a diploma of the Ministry.

The anniversary concert of the ensemble “Ars Nova” was unusual. According to Elizaveta Belinskaya, the program of the concert was intended to satisfy tastes of all the listeners: “So that anyone, who came to the concert” could find a favorite play, be it popular classical music, jazz or pop music”.

Many friends and colleagues of the group took part in the concert.
